Touro Nevada's MPAS page lists only four required prerequisites, in semester credits or the equivalent quarter series: Human Anatomy and Physiology (8), Organic Chemistry (4), Biochemistry (3) and Microbiology (3), each with a grade of C or better. Recency is per course: A&P, Biochemistry and Microbiology "Must have been completed within the past seven years of application," while Organic Chemistry "does not have a timeframe restriction." "3 semester units in general psychology and 3 semester credits in statistics are also recommended." There is no general chemistry, general biology, English or medical terminology line. "All prerequisite courses must be completed before the candidate begins the program. An applicant may apply to the program with prerequisite coursework in progress, as long as no more than two science prerequisites are missing at the time of application." GPA: "Earn a cumulative and science GPA of 3.0 or higher as calculated by CASPA," or alternatively a GPA of 3.0 or higher from a master's program or from at least one term of a graduate-level certificate or degree program. A baccalaureate from a regionally accredited institution is required. On testing: "GRE scores are no longer required for admission into the PA program" and "GRE scores are no longer considered"; no PA-CAT or CASPer is mentioned. Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status at the time of application and meet the program's technical standards. Two letters of recommendation are required.
