"The following courses are required with a letter grade of 'C' or better." "Prerequisite lab courses should be completed at the same institution as the corresponding science course." "Science prerequisite courses should be designated for science majors. The course title on the applicant's transcript should align with the prerequisite course titles listed." "No more than one science and one non-science prerequisite may be in progress after December 31st of the year before enrollment in the program." No recency window is stated. The Admissions Components page (https://medicine.ouhsc.edu/prospective-students/degree-programs/physician-associate-program-information/prospective-applicants/admissions-components) adds: AP and CLEP credit count for prerequisites if accepted by the applicant's institution and on an official transcript or received from the College Board; "An overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and all prerequisite coursework with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Scoring will be on a weighted scale, with science GPA carrying the most weight." A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required before matriculation. "While there is no minimum requirement, consideration is given to applicants with health-related experience, patient care experience, shadowing hours, and volunteer hours. Online shadowing will not be accepted."
