The only number Milligan states is the combined 300 hours of "direct patient care or observation experience," recorded on the healthcare experience line. Hands-on hours are the stronger way to fill that requirement, but the program does not require them separately, and the baseline's 1000 hour floor is not this program's rule.

Milligan publishes an eleven line prerequisite list and still requires the GRE: "Strong verbal and quantitative reasoning skills as reported on the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). A minimum composite score of 289 will be accepted, and the exam must have been taken within the past five years," submitted through CASPA under code 7342. Academic floors are "a baccalaureate degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0" and "a minimum 3.0 GPA for prerequisite science courses." The laboratory rule is stricter than most: "Courses must include live hands-on lab; courses with online laboratory will not be accepted." The page publishes no recency window on the coursework itself; the five year limit applies to the GRE. One required course has no key in this vocabulary: Public Speaking, 3 semester hours, which sits beside the 6 hours of writing. References carry the university's Christian mission: "Three completed reference forms through CASPA from persons who have adequate knowledge of the applicant's Christian commitment, character, and professional qualities of potential for success as a graduate student. At least one reference must be from someone with/for whom the applicant has worked/volunteered in a health care setting." Admitted students need a clear level one background check and American Heart Association BLS certification before the program starts, and must meet the published technical standards. International applicants submit TOEFL, IELTS at 6.5 or better, or a Duolingo English Test of 110 or better.
