"One letter must be from a paid or volunteer work supervisor...who can discuss your work ethic and performance. Letters from coaches are not counted."

Monmouth publishes a clean prerequisite list in semester credit hours. Every prerequisite must be completed within 10 years before application with a grade of "B-" or better, a higher grade floor than most programs, and pass/fail grading is not accepted. "Advanced Placement (AP) or College Level Examination Program (CLEP) credit for any prerequisite courses is not accepted," while "online courses will be considered for acceptance in fulfilling admission requirements." Two GPA floors: "A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale from all courses at all institutions" and "A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all prerequisite courses," with the caveat that "competitive applicants have GPA's of 3.3 or better." The GRE is required: "The GRE, taken in the past five years, is required for all applicants," no minimum published, and "competitive applicants have scores near or above the 50th percentile in each of the test areas." The PA-CAT is not mentioned. The program page gives recent class ranges of 3.4 to 3.6 cumulative GPA, 3.5 to 3.6 prerequisite GPA and 1,464 to 2,767 patient care hours, which are averages, not minimums. Applications go only through CASPA ("any applications sent directly to Monmouth University will not be considered"), rolling until all 30 seats are filled; submit by September 1 to be verified and complete by the October 1 deadline, fall start only. The program "is unable to grant advanced standing for prior coursework or experiential learning."
