Tampa's prerequisite list is counted in semesters rather than credit hours: two semesters of general biology with labs, one semester of microbiology with lab, two semesters of human anatomy and physiology with labs, two semesters of general chemistry with labs, one statistics course, and one medical terminology course. All must be completed "with a grade of C or higher (C- not accepted)." GPA floors are stated for both measures: "Overall GPA: 3.0 minimum" and "Science GPA: 3.0 minimum," with a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution required before matriculation. The testing policy is the striking part: "The PA-CAT is not required. The GRE is not required. The MCAT is not required," but "Casper is a required online situational judgment assessment" and results must be released by the deadline. Admissions are structured and non-rolling with a CASPA verified deadline of January 15 of the matriculation year, interviews in February, and initial offers by March 1. No prerequisite recency window and no patient care, healthcare experience or shadowing hour requirement is published on this page.
