Wingate University Physician Assistant Program prerequisites

General chemistry is not one of Wingate's nine prerequisites; the chemistry asks are organic chemistry with lab and a standalone biochemistry course.

"Organic Chemistry with Lab: 4 credit hours minimum." Required in addition to biochemistry, not as an alternative to it. Virtual labs are accepted.

"Biochemistry: 3 credit hours minimum, lecture only; combination courses of organic/biochemistry or similar will not fulfill this prerequisite." A standalone biochemistry course, on top of the separate organic chemistry with lab requirement.
