"Courses designated as 'survey' or purely introductory in the sciences do not satisfy prerequisite requirements." Non-traditional platforms such as StraighterLine or Sophia are not accepted for A&P, organic or biochemistry, and microbiology, and may be considered for the rest; up to two prerequisites may be met with CLEP, AP/IB or Pass grades. Patient care is recommended, not required: "While 750 hours of paid clinical patient care experience (or 1,000 hours of volunteer clinical patient care experience) is recommended to establish a strong foundation, these hours are not required for admission." The cohort averages 2400 reported hours of direct patient care.
